ASA Emulsifier

The ASA emulsifier is used to emulsify the ASA sizing agent, which can effectively improve the sizing efficiency and maintain the good operation efficiency of the paper machine. It can prepare a very stable cationic ASA emulsion, helping ASA to be retained on the fibers through the ionization surface adsorption effect. This emulsifier has good dispersibility and stability, which can significantly reduce the hydrolysis rate of the ASA sizing agent and improve the sizing efficiency and paper strength. It is suitable for various high-speed paper machine systems, especially performing excellently in the medium-alkaline papermaking environment. When using, it should be ensured to be fully mixed with the ASA sizing agent. Prepare it for immediate use and avoid storing the emulsion for a long time.
Usage Method
Dosage:Adjust according to the dosage of the ASA sizing agent and the water quality. The general ratio is 0.5 - 1:1 (emulsifier: sizing agent).
pH Value:The pH value of the ASA emulsion should be controlled between 3.5 and 5.0. In a highly alkaline fresh - water system, it can be adjusted with citric acid.
Temperature:To achieve a better sizing effect, the temperature of the sizing emulsion should be controlled below 55℃.
Storage and Transportation
Store at room temperature in a cool, dry and ventilated environment, avoiding direct sunlight and high temperatures. During transportation, prevent collision and leakage to ensure the safety of the product. The product is valid for 6 months.
