III. Core Application Areas

  1. Nylon 66 Synthesis(Dominant use, accounting for 70% of consumption)

    • It undergoes condensation polymerization with hexamethylenediamine to form nylon 66 salt, which is used in engineering plastics and fiber manufacturing.

  2. polyurethane(20%)

    • It is used as a raw material for polyester polyols in the production of shoe soles, elastomers, and coatings.

  3. Food and Medicine

    • Acidulant (E355), pH adjuster (must comply with FDA/GB standards);

    • Drug sustained-release carriers (such as controlled-release tablets).

  4. Other industries

    • Raw materials for wet strength agents in papermaking chemicals, lubricants and thickeners, additives for battery electrolytes, and plasticizers for polymer materials.

IV. Storage and Operationlose

  • Storage conditionsStore in a cool, dry place (temperature <30°C), with relative humidity ≤50%.Winter precautions(December): Avoid dampness and clumping (temperature-controlled warehouse recommended).

  • Package25kg/bag or 1-ton bulk bag;

  • transportation: Not a dangerous good (UN number: N/A), but must be protected from moisture and breakage.

V. Market Dynamics in 2025 (Supplement)charge

  • Price TrendDue to fluctuations in crude oil prices, the current price is...$1,200–1,300/ton(East China Market);

  • Environmental policiesThe EU's N₂O emissions tax has driven a 12% annual increase in demand for bio-based adipic acid.

  • Innovative ApplicationsSodium-ion battery electrolyte additive (to improve cycle stability).
